Digital Europe: German-Polish Cybersecurity Funding and Matchmaking
This upcoming German-Polish cross-border onsite event “European Cybersecurity Funding and Matchmaking: Digital Europe’’ supports potential applicants for the Digital Europe Cybersecurity funding programme on their search for funding opportunities and with their partner search within the European Cybersecurity Community, focused on the organizing countries.
Content of the Workshop
The event is starting off with a networking night including dinner. There the participants receive the opportunity to meet potential partners for innovative cybersecurity projects and will be given some insights on the European Cybersecurity Competence Community and building a trusted ecosystem, especially focusing on the communities in Poland and Germany.
Within the following day participants can gain some hands-on experience on proposal writing and consortia building as well as a guideline on the eight steps to take until the application is completed. There will be brief presentations on current Digital Europe Call openings and the application process. The main part will include hands-on group work sessions. The teams will work on their topic of interest and will have the opportunity to exchange on the respective area of expertise, discuss their ideas and gain valuable experience in working on the application templates itself. Building effective consortias will be an integral part of this workshop.
Throughout the workshop experienced consultants on the Digital Europe funding programm will be available for questions and guidance.
Closing the event there will be a possibility to ask final questions and take away essentials like Tipps on project performance.

General information
For whom?
Within the event we will be covering three call topics from the Cybersecurity Digital Europe funding programme. According to this, the following organisations are in focus of the call for proposals (awaited to open in September 2026):
- Topic: Cybersecure tools, technologies and services relying on AI: Technology providers, SOC, providers, research institutions, organisations affected by NIS2
- Topic: Strengthening the cybersecurity capabilities of European SMEs with cyber-secure AI-powered solutions: SMEs, start-ups, research institutions, public sector, NIS2-affected organisations
- Topic: Strengthening the EU’s cybersecurity capacities and capabilities in line with legislative requirements: All stakeholders
Note: Due to security restrictions under Article 12(5) of the Digital Europe Regulation apply (see Sections 6 and 10 and Annex 2), companies outside the European Union cannot be applicants and are therefore advised not to attend.
How to register?
You can register via the registration form provided and maintained by the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity Poland (NCC-PL).
During the registration process, participants need to specify the topic of interest. If the registered participants show interest in specific topics in particular, the program will be adapted accordingly, if possible.
